I know if you've had a session with me, that I probably talked your ear off about my dogs.  On a more personal note, sadly last year I lost my beautiful 12 year old yellow lab Scout.  Though I'm so grateful to still have my beautiful girl Lucy, I'm glad I was able to capture images of Scout that I'll cherish forever.

Having been through this, it's important to give the opportunity to others to ensure they have beautiful images of their furry family members - with the added benefit that I get to love up on everyone's pets!  So, I've decided that I'm going to host a Pawtrait Mini-Session Series on Saturday and Sunday, May 10th and 11th.

The Details:  Depending on the session you choose, the sessions will be either 30 or 60 minutes long and will include the session, a watermarked gallery of images to review and 1 final, edited image of your choice.  The goal will be to capture your dogs unique personality.  If you would like to include two pups, you would choose the 2 Pup/3 Image Package then we'd photograph each individually and then capture images of them together!

P.S.  In case you'd like to be photographed with your pet, never fear.  This session will be strictly focused on Dogs.  But we are in the process of developing some unique mini-sessions where we can include the entire family in a portrait session. 

Join us for a Mother's Day Photo Mini-Session on Saturday, April 26th and Sunday, April 27th.  We'll capture clean, simple and fun images of your whole family showcasing their personalities on a bright background. Your 20 minute session includes a watermarked gallery of images for review and 3 fully edited final images of your choice for $200. 

These sessions make the perfect gift to yourself, or to any mom in your life. With mothers day fast approaching, the best gift is pictures to look back on! Kids grow too quickly and are constantly changing, so making it a priority to capture them as they are now is so important!

I have a number of people who have also booked their sessions with their own mother involved because they are lacking in generational images with their own mother - which becomes more important as we age!

Note:  Additional images may be purchased a la carte. Please arrive 5 minutes early and ready to shoot as sessions are booked back to back. No clothing changes.

I realized that it's been forever since I've visited my own blog and so much has happened!

 A New Home....

For starters, WE'VE MOVED!  The studio is now located at 1602 Rochester Road in Royal Oak, MI.  We're conveniently located just south of 12 Mile Road on Rochester. As you know, I LOVE natural light and this new studio has beautiful window light!  I hope you'll stop in and update you're portraits with us this Spring!

Recently, we were approached by a local property management company that was in the process of updating their website and wanted fresh, contemporary, updated images of all their employees. They were planning a leadership conference at their corporate headquarters and were flying their employees in for the day.

After discussing their needs and the personality that they would like their images to convey, we settled on a beautiful, clean, contemporary background.  Along with our make-up artist, we then came to their offices and photographed each individual, allowed them to pick their favorite portrait and then expertly edited each to create the portraits below.
