We were so excited to be asked to create images for local entrepreneur Diana Pelliccia Mueller, founder of Bellaroma Boutique (www.bellaromaboutique.com) which creates and sells an incredible natural skin care line.

Bellaroma was being featured in the January 2016 edition of Where Women Create Business Magazine, an invaluable guide for every woman business owner – from those just starting out to the experienced artisan entrepreneur.  For the article, Diana needed images of her wonderful products as well as images portraying her process for creating them as well as showing her personal style.

Through the process of shooting Diana, we had the opportunity to get to know her and sample some of her products.  I cannot even begin to capture how incredible her products are and how good they smell.  My personal favorites are her Yogurt Buttercreme Moisturizer and Grapeseed Banana Facial Scrub.  I would definitely recommend stopping by her site and giving her products a try - you won't regret it!

We’ve had several requests recently to run a Headshot Mini Session and what better time than July when everyone has had the opportunity to be active and get a little color in their cheeks!

So, what we’ve done is set aside three days this month (July 17, 18 and 19th) for 20 minute headshot sessions. These sessions will include only one outfit and we will create several images on multiple backdrops and the cost is $199. Hair and Makeup will NOT be available for these sessions due to time constraints.

Who is this headshot mini-sessions for:
1. Any Corporate Executive who needs an updated headshot for their Facebook Business Page, Website, Blog, LinkedIn Profile or speaking engagement.

2. Graduating students who need a professional image for job seeking.
3. Actors or Actresses requiring updated headshots.
4. Men or Women looking for updated, professional Facebook Profile images.
5. Men or Women looking for images to use on dating websites.

What will the Session include:

1. A 20 minute photo session.
2. One outfit (client should arrive in clothing choice).
3. One high resolution, edited headshot of client’s choice.

How can I book a session and what is required at booking:
1. Simply send us an email at info@platinumimagery.com or give us a call at (248) 594-0024 and let us know which day and what time works best for you. Sessions will run from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. We will do our best to accommodate everyone’s choices.
2. Once a time has been agreed upon, a $50 non-refundable security deposit will be required before the time is actually booked. 
3. Final $149 payment will be due the day of the session.

What is your Corporate image worth to you? 

This morning I received a call from a local equity investment firm.  This firm was interested in having corporate head shots created for three of their employees. I won't mention the name of this company, because this post really isn't about them or this particular call.  But as I hung up after quoting a $190 fee for a 20 minute mini-session with 1 high resolution file, I started thinking about the value that companies place on the image they present publicly and about the length of time that the average person uses their online profiles, what that image says to the thousands of people that may see it on a monthly basis and what it says to potential clients or employers.

But, let's take a step back....if you currently have a corporate head shot, how long has it been since you've updated it?  How many different mediums does it appear on - LinkedIn, Facebook Business Pages, your Resume, your Website, your Blog, Google +, Twitter, Instagram?  Depending on the type of business you're in, does your head shot convey your trade - are you a writer, real estate agent, a fitness trainer, a director of marketing or an accountant? Does your head shot convey that your competent, approachable, successful? All of these things need to be taken into consideration by a photographer creating the perfect corporate head shot for you.

So, in summary, I leave you with this thought....what is your public profile image worth to you?
